It offers hot-swappable switches, allowing you to swap out the pre-lubed Gateron G Pro mechanical tactile brown switches with almost any 3-pin or 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches on the market, including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, and Panda, without the need for soldering. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for larger keys like the space bar, shift, enter, and delete keys provide a smoother and more stable typing experience.
The Keychron K8 Pro has been meticulously re-engineered from the inside out to deliver an enhanced typing experience. The added sound-absorbing foam, thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound. The south-facing white backlight is designed to better illuminate the keyboard from the typist's angle, and the double-shot PBT keycaps offer a comfortable fingertip feel and excellent oil resistance.
